Presented here, an ancien Ivory sculpture of Expiring Christ from mid 19th Century. It was masterfully handcarved by a unknown Spanish master artisan. Its perizonium has an uncommon shape and very well executed folds (see pictures, please)
 As can be seen at the pictures, unfortunatelly the right feet of the figure has missed its toes.
 
MEASURES:  the ivory carving, not including its arms, measures 113mm high, 20mm at its torax. The wood cross measures 31 X 146mm.
 
ESTIMATED AGE: 19th Century
