BEAUTIFUL AND RARE OMEGA ART DECO STEPPED-CASE WRIST WATCH IN STEEL, CAL. OMEGA R17.8, CIRCA 1944. REFERENCE NUM. 3835-5. MIDSIZED.
DIAL: silver color dial with black color arabig numbers and applied dots, signed OMEGA at twelve. Subseconds dial at six o'clock. Original hands, diamond style. As seen at the pictures, dial show some age but still very nice.
CASE: rare and beautiful stainless steel STEPPED rectangular tank, ART DECO style, with snap back cover, fully signed and numbered by OMEGA WATCH Co inside; case reference number is 3830-5.
MOVEMENT: original mechanical with manual winding movement, fully signed & numbered by OMEGA WATCH Co, caliber R17.8 square-cut -corner (see pictures, please).
WORKING ORDER: Yes, it is in good running condition.
BRACELET/STRAP: vintage generic camel-brown color leather strap with gold tone buckle, 14mm wide (see pics, please)
MEASURES: watch measures 36mm lug to lug, 23mm wide (including its winding crown -OMEGA did not sign their winging crowns with their logo until 1950 -. PLEASE, NOTE: this is a MIDSIZED watch, originally created for gents but nowadays it would be considered a watch for boys or ladies because of its case size. Please check measures carefully.
ESTIMATED AGE: 1944 (datation is based on the serial number engraved on the movement)
