Federico Wiese was a German air force officer who participated in the Spanish Civil War 1936-39 and who, after the end of WWII, took refuge in Franco's Spain, starting in the city of Barcelona in 1950 a local production that is distinguished by its vivid and attractive colors.
Even today, the Wiese family manages the Montblanc representation in Spain from Mallorca.
