ORIGINAL VINTAGE OVERSIZED ART DECO WRIST WATCH IN SILVER 800, EXPLODING NUMERALS, CIRCA 1920
DIAL: original UNrestored silver tone dial with black color arabig numbers, desired "exploding numerals" style. Dial is signed SIL at twelve ("SIL" was a registered watch brand integrated into the Swiss watchmaking tradition during the first third of the 20th century). Original blue metal hands.
CASE: Original oversized rectangular silver hinged case and back, made in solid silver, hallmarked 0.800. Outside hinged back cover there is also the offical Swiss hallmark for 0.800 silver (wood grouse) and the following number: S.F. 16645
MOVEMENT: original mechanical with manual winding movement, cylinder scapement -see pics, please-
WORKING ORDER: Yes, it is in good running order, considering its age.
BRACELET/STRAP: brown color leather strap specially designed for fixed springs watch cases, with silver tone buckle (see pics, please)
MEASURES: watch measures 46mm lug to lug, 27mm wide (including its winding crown), 25.50mm wide (not including its winding crown ). It is a big sized (oversized) tank-style rectangular wrist watch.
ESTIMATED AGE: late 1920'ies
