DIAL: original white color enamel descentered dial, signed 8 DIAS (8 days in Spanish) at twelve, 8 JOURS and HEBDOMAS at both sides of the main wheel (see pics, please). Original blue metal hands. As seen at the pictures, dial is in very good conditions, showing some small hairline at the last letters of the word HEBDOMAS, please refer to the pictures.
CASE: original white metal case, square shaped (often also called "travel" watches due to its suitability for remaining upright and stable on the table), decorated at its back cover with a gorgeous allegoric high relief depicting a feminine winged figure representing the PEACE.
The Winged Female Figure is not a religious angel, but rather the allegory of Peace (inspired by the Roman goddess Pax).
The Palm Frond: In classical iconography, the palm branch is the universal symbol of victory, triumph, and enduring peace. The relief shows Peace placing this symbol over the planet to signify the end of conflict "Pax in Terra" Over the Globe: This Latin phrase translates to "Peace on Earth." Positioned over the globe, it delivers a clear message of global harmony.
The manufacturer Schild & Co. (makers of Hebdomas in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland) frequently released embossed cases to commemorate major global events. This "Pax in Terra" iconography aligns perfectly with an specific historical moment: The Hague Peace Conferences (1899 & 1907): the first major international treaties aimed at preventing war through global arbitration.

PLEASE, NOTE: the top of the case, at eleven o'clock, there is a small pusher wich allows setting time.
MOVEMENT: original mechanical with manual winding movement, with the world famous "giant Mainspring Barrel": opening the back cover reveals a massive disc covering almost the entire movement. This houses a very long mainspring, giving the watch its legendary "8 Jours" (8 Days) run time on a single wind (at its time).
