VINTAGE INTERNATIONAL WATCH COMPANY IWC IN STEEL  CAL. 61, CIRCA 1940.
 
DIAL: original unrestored silver color dial, with stylized black color arabig numbers. Dial is signed INTERNATIONAL WATCH Co SCHAUFFHAUSEN at twelve. Blue metal diamond style hands with red color seconds hand. As seen at the pictures, the original dial shows some uniform patina from age, which adds  character to this beautiful historycal timepiece, please,  look at the pictures, they speak by themselves. 
 
CASE: original elegant and sober case, made in stainless steel . Its snap back cover is fully signed and numbered by INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO.  IWC. Beautiful sharped lugs.
 
MOVEMENT: original  mechanical with manual winding movement, fully signed & numbered by INTERNATIONAL WATCH COMPANY IWC. Famous caliber 61, the first IWC caliber with central seconds, with only 4 years of production (1938-1941)
 
WORKING ORDER: Yes, it is in good runnig order.
 
BRACELET/STRAP:  vintage generic brown color leather (lizard) strap (20mm) with yellow gold tone buckle  (see pics, please). 
 
MEASURES: case measures 34.50mm diameter (not including its winding crown), 42mm high (lug to lug).

AGE: circa 1940
