Presented here, a rare historical gun metal and brass pocket watch, ROSKOPF SYSTEM, decorated on its back cover with the BORBONIC called "small" COAT OF ARMS OF SPAIN in enamel over fine silver. The "small" Coat of Arms of Spain is surrounded by what seems to be olive branches with tiny green leaves. Considering this heraldica, we assume the watch was most probably a present to some monarchical State official in connection with the Bourbon restoration in Spain, which came from December 1874 to 1931.
As shown at the pictures, the back cover shows some attrition because of the wear
DIAL: white color enamel (porcelain) dial with gold tone roman numbers over midnight blue translucent enamel balloons, which are silver bezel ornated (see pics, please). Dial is signed SYSTEME ROSKOPF PATENT in red color at twelve o'clock position and 1RA QUALITÉ SUPERIEUR at six.
Dial is in excellent conditions, no dings, cracks or even hairlines anywere as long as I see. Original yellow tone hands, Loius XVI style.
