These articulated Chandelier earrings from Georgian era (1760-1780) are made in sterling silver. Each earring body has two (2) articulated parts and three (3) pendants.
Both earrings weight: 18.74gr.
Total length is 68.50mm and 11.50mm at their widest point.
Hinge Hook-Front fastening.
EACH earring has a total of four (4) natural Colombian EMERALDS depicting a very beautiful luminous clear green color.
Emeralds measures are:
4X3mm approximately, one (1) piece3X2mm approximately, three (3) pieces. One of them seems to be a bit cracked (it is the one set in a small hanging/dangling pendant, hardly noticeable), please refer to the pictures.
Also, there are a total of thirty-four (34) natural diamond chips, old rose cut (3 facet) measuring between 1.00-2.00 mm diameter approx, each.
PLEASE NOTE: antique cuts for stones were often not exact
These earrings were made by Catalan or Spanish craftsmen silversmiths and their estimated age is circa 1760-1780, during the reign of Carlos III.
They are in very good conditions considering its age.
