DIAL: Original white color enamel (porcelain) dial with black color roman numbers. Original blue-metal hands, Breguet style.
CASE: Sterling silver case has a soberconstruction and it is decorated with classical guilloché texture which is surrounded by a vegetal motif frame. At the center of the back cover, there is a parchment roll wich can be used in the way a regular coat of arms usually is, therefore some initials could be engraved there. In front of the parchment roll there is a mytical animal, probably a feline or also it could represent an stylized dog (see pics, please). Inside the back cover there are two hallmarks (silver) one of which shows a framed Crab, the antique French hallmark for a minimum of .800 of Silver content. Back cover is also double-numbered: 4808 and 2619. The Dust cover is metal made and is signed/numbered outside as follows: Nº 4808, ECHAPPEMENT A CYLINDRE, YB(?)UIT, TROUS EN RUBIS
Please, note: this watch comes with a beautiful antique silver tone pocket watch chain and the proper key to wind up the watch and also for setting time.
MOVEMENT: Original mechanical with KEY winding movement, CYLINDER escapement. The key hole placed in the middle allows setting time and the one placed below will wind the movement up
WORKING: yes, it is in runnning conditions, it ticks nicely after key-winding it up.
MEASURES: 42mm diameter (midsized), not including its hanging ring.
