Presented here, a rare, sober & beautiful early Victorian era cross, handcrafted in silver, 18K gold and natural diamonds. The cross pendant is decorated with a total of twelve (12) natural diamonds, old rose-cut (3 facets), set in silver bezels with six claws. Each natural diamond measures 2mm diameter approx, excepting the central one, which measures 2.50mm diameter approx. The diamonds show a beautiful shine and are white color. The back side of the cross is beautifully decorated with twelve (12) 18K gold eight-pointed stars (or flowers, it depends of observer's eye). A tiny 18K gold hanging ring attaches to the 18K gold ring placed at the top of the cross (see pictures, please).
A beautiful and wearable original antique diamond cross pendant from the first half of the 19th Century, a lovely addition to any antique jewellery collection!
