Presented for your consideration, an ancien Ivory sculpture of Expiring Christ from the first years of 19th Century. It is masterfully handcarved by a unknown Spanish master artisan with a deep knowledge of human body, the figure shows an uncommon realistic perfection which does not go unnoticed. Its perizonium has a very well executed folds (see pictures, please)
The wooden cross is later than the ivory carving. As can be seen at the pictures, unfortunatelly the right hand of the figure has 3 missed fingers.

MEASURES: the ivory carving, not including its arms, measures 215mm high, 40mm at its widest part (figurine's torax). Left arm has a length of 86mm and the right one measures 75mm approx. itself. The wood cross measures 345mm high, 180mm wide.
