Exquisite delicate Georgian Iberian pearl earrings (circa 1780s to 1800s) crafted in high carat yellow and rose gold, 20- 22K gold (profesionally acid-tested) and natural seed pearls. These earrings has one of the most identifying motif of late 17th/early 18th Centuries: the Bow. The center of each flower is decorated with a natural white color tiny pearl, measuring 3mm diameter approx, each (four pearls in total).
As seen in the picture the yellow gold bow link the small and the big flower pieces in order to allow a beautiful and elegant dangling movement
These are a wearable pair of ancien earrings, they have a lightweight feel on the earlobe (the total weight of the earrings is 3 grams). The earrings would make a great addition to a fine antique jewelry collection.
MEASURES: each earring has a length of 45mm. The dangling flowers measures 15mm diameter, each.
ESTIMATED AGE: 1780-1790, Georgian Iberian period.
GENERAL CONDITION: very good general condition. These are a delicate antique earrings. One of the earrings has a small welding point.
