BEAUTIFUL STERLING SILVER BABY RATTLE ADORABLE CAT kitten TWO SIDES, CIRCA 1900
 
Presented here, an adorable baby rattle in the shape of a handsome realistic cat's head (probably an european shorthair cat) made in sterling silver (professionally acid tested). As seen at the pictures, there are two cat faces, one of whitch has a ding at its nose, the other one is in great conditions, showing normal wear/use. The handle is made of natural carved mother of pearl, it had a plunk at its very botton so a mother of pearl squama was missing  .
 
Attending to popular knowledge, sterling silver baby rattles were believed to be useful against evil eye, will protect the new-born and will help the baby to have a healthy life
