EXQUISITE 18K GOLD & ENAMEL RELIQUARY LOCKET PENDANT CROSS WITH PEARLS, SPAIN, CIRCA 1870
 
Beautiful 18K gold locket pendant or reliqualy, decorated with an estilized hand sheathed in a blue color sleeve with white bobbin lace, which is holding a holy cross surounded by black enamel, and decorated with a total of seventeen (17) calibrated natural pearls, white creamy color. The pearls are set in pavé style over a chiselled base of eight-pointed-littkle stars or flowers. The back side of the reliquatry shows an intrincated celtic inspired design in black color enamel, so, it probably indicates this is a beautiful and elegant mourning locket pendant. Inside the locket, there is a vintage picture of a young woman, protected by a yellowish plastic sheet.
